Surveys and Roundtables

In June 2023, surveys were circulated to over 150 representatives from Arts and culture organisations, special educational needs settings and other funders, to reexamine the five pillars identified in Stand up for SEND (2019) and to develop a deeper sense of what effective and innovative SEND partnerships are currently happening across the Charity’s Beneficial Area.

Numerous organisations have even credited the surveys for providing them with the valuable opportunity to reflect on their own inclusive practice and push forward their individual progress in this area:

“Forming a regularly meeting EDI committee has been a game changer for us. We are on a journey, we are not there yet and this questionnaire in itself has brought up a lot more which we could be doing that we are currently not, but the important thing is that these issues are on our radar and we are working towards a more inclusive place for everyone.”
